Oru Adaar Love Movie Summary:
Priya (Priya Prakash Varrier) and Roshan (Roshan Abdul Rahoof) meet each other at the freshers day party of their 11th grade. They look at each other and feel an instant attraction towards each other. Roshan tries hard to woo Priya and she plays along. Meanwhile, Gadha (Noorin Shereef), Roshan's best friend ends up having feelings for him.
If we were thinking that this would turn into a triangle love story, director Omar Lulu has packed an unexpected ending to Oru Adaar Love? Will Priya leave Roshan and go? Will Gadha confess her love to Roshan? What will happen to their future? The answers to these questions forms the crux of the story.
Oru Adaar Love Movie Performance:
There were so much talked about Priya Prakash's role being extended after she shot to fame with her iconic wink. But, let's get that clear. She isn't that great an actor and has ample scope for improvement.
Roshan Abdul Rahool with his cute antics lives up the role of a schoolboy and sometimes his expressions are enough to convey his love for the girls. His equation with Gadha is the most refreshing part of Oru Adaar Love.
Beating Priya and Roshan, Noorin Shereef is the show stealer of Oru Adaar Love. Her character is mature and her expressions are so good that you don't see her as a debut heroine. In fact, she is the hero of Oru Adaar Love.
Oru Adaar Love Movie Positives:
Oru Adaar Love reminds us of our high school days and the relationships we get into. The first half of this film has some funny moments that are reminiscent of everyone's schooldays. Be it senior-junior tiff or the triangle love story, these portions are well-written.
Director Omar Lulu has to be appreciated to have written Noorin Shereef's role with such dignity. She plays Roshan's best friends and goes to any extent to help him in every possible way. She also helps other boys in her class to pursue girls.
The adolescent talks and romance are captured well. Even though there are several double entendre dialogues in the film, the remaining portions are a delight to watch out for.
Omar Lulu starts off with the viral Manikya Malaraya Poovi song and Priya Prakash Varrier's wink. In a wink, it takes us back to the day's everyone were gushing about her smile and wink.
Oru Adaar Love Movie Negatives:
Priya Prakash Varrier's role is a total disappointment. Not only she has limited screentime, but she also has limited expressions.
The climax is completely a let-down. Omar Lulu has tried to bring up emotions there, but there is no strong backing in the climax as to why such things are happening.
Sometimes, all we are shown are school guys talking only about love. If the director had managed to capture the innocence of these guys, it would have been more realistic.
Oru Adaar Love Movie Verdict:
Oru Adaar Love, directed by Omar Lulu, could have been a fun film on high school romance. But, the incoherent screenplay ruins it sometimes, says our review on the movie.
