After the success of Evaru, Adivi Sesh teamed up with his Goodachari director Sashi Kiran Thikka. Both of them are now working together for the film Major. It is the biopic of Major Sandeep Unni Krishnan who lost his life in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, Adivi Sesh lost 8 kilos for this film.
Sesh has decided to shed a few kilos to suit the role of the soldier. It seems that he spent a lot of time with real soldiers and learned a few nuances from them. Sesh wants to be authentic to the role and thus, he is giving his best for it. Both Sesh and Sashi have spent a lot of time together for this film. Sashi also left a big project to make this film. Both of them have spent a lot of time with Sandeep's family and learned a lot of unknown things about the martyr's life.
Major got done with 40% of its shoot. The rest of the shoot will begin once the COVID-19 situation gets settled. Sobhita Dhulipala is playing another important role in this movie. Major is being produced by Sony Entertainment and GMB Entertainments of Mahesh Babu. It will hit the screens mostly during next year. It will have a simultaneous release in both Hindi and Telugu. Stay tuned for more updates on it.
