Siddharth Anand’s film War has undoubtedly earned its way to the top now since it’s the biggest Hindi film of the year. Breaking the previous record of Kabir Singh, War has now surpassed its total at the box office. The film is now in the run to reach Rs 300 crores in just a few more days.
If one were to go by the film’s current success, it would overtake Saaho to become the biggest film in any language in India this year. Saaho had previously earned Rs 295 crores all throughout its run.
Its success has now become a part of Yash Raj Studios biggest films right behind Tiger Zinda Hai, Sultan and Dhoom 3. Earlier it had also broken the record of the biggest first-day earning of any Bollywood film ever. After it earned Rs 53.3 crores on its first day, it broke the record of RS 52 crores that was held by Thugs of Hindustan.
