Aakshavaani movie release postponed due to Covid-19

Director Ashwin Gangaraju's Aakashavaani's release has been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Director Ashwin Gangaraju's debut film Aakashavaani was announced back in 2018 . He worked as an assistant to filmmaker SS Rajamouli. When the film was announced, Rajamouli's son SS Karthikeya was onboard as the producer. However, two years laster, he backed out as the producer due to creative differences with director Shwin Gangaraju. Now, there is an update on Aakshavaani. If not for the Covid-19 pandemic, Aakshavaani would have seen the light of the day today, June 4. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown, the film's release has been postponed.
Director Shwin announced the same and wrote, 'In a parallel world #Aakashavaani is playing in Theatres near you today. Aha, ee ooha yentha Bagundi. (Wife shouting 'yevaraa ooha' Face with monocle) Sarsarle, see you soon. #TheWorldOfAakashavani (sic).'The post read, 'In a normal world, we'd have met and celebrated #Aakshavaani today. However, the times are testing and it's important to stay home and stay strong. In the meanwhile, #TheWorldofAakashavaani will wait to meet you when it's safe for everyone! We will soon give you an update on the release. After all, what we have created for you deserves to be experienced in the right way, at a right time (sic).'

In a parallel world #Aakashavaani is playing in Theatres near you today.
