Rajeev Ravi's Kuttavum Shikshayum has released on Netflix on June 24. Kuttavum Shikshayum tells the story of a police team reaching in Uttar Pradesh. This is to investigate a case of jewellery theft in Kasaragod district in 2015. Asif Ali, Alencier, Senthil Krishna, Sunny Wayne and Sharafuddin played the central roles in the film.

Alencier gave a remarkable performance in the film. Asif Ali's Saajan and Alencier's Basheer have gotten a lot of appreciation for their performance in the film.

Basheer, played by Alencier, is a policeman who is about to retire. As an experienced police officer in the service, Sajan calls him Basheerika even though Sajan is a senior officer. With that experience, Basheerika is able to give courage to Sajan in his conflicted moments.

But Alencier has played a similar character before. Policemen played by Alencier like Chandran in Thondimuthalum Driksakshim directed by Dileesh Pothan and Marar in Salute directed by Roshan Andus are aged policemen who are about to retire.

With this, the audience is asking whether Alencier is being stereotyped as such a character. However, Alencier gave an excellent performance as Basheerika in the film Kuttavum Shikshayum.

Meanwhile, Kuttavum Shikshayum got a mixed response from the theatres. Police officer Sibi Thomas, who is familiar to the audience with the film Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, has written the story for the film. The screenplay of the film has been prepared by Sreejith Divakaran and Sibi Thomas.
