Ever since the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, the debate of nepotism has sparked in the Indian film industry yet again. Many people are coming up with contrasting opinions on nepotism. Yesterday, popular director Balki indirectly defended nepotism. He asked people to find better actors than Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. It looks like this statement didn't go well with actress Shraddha Das. Allu Arjun's Arya 2 actress took on social media to let out her perspective. Shraddha says that everyone gets an opportunity in one way or the other. However, the difference lies in the level of difficulty in the journey.

Shraddha's statement read, 'Fed up of seeing the nepotism debates even more so seeing people say that in every field it is the same, parents pass it on. So if my parents were doctors or engineers, would I straight away become one without studying or clearing an exam?! Without a background, you have to give 1000s of auditions for getting one minuscule role in a movie which gets reduced further and not even promoted while the person with a background gets it straight away is provided with an army of the best staff and PR from day 1. Just accept the privilege u got, simple!'

'And about big film-makers who argue on this, most people with no background know it is next to impossible and very difficult to even contact or reach out to them or even get an opportunity to audition for their movies, while the ones with a background get a red carpet welcome from day 1. Everyone does get an opportunity, somewhere or the other. The difference is only in the level of difficulty in the journey to get the first break and the journey post that!,' she added.
