Jacqueline Fernandez appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today. Jacqueline was questioned by ED personnel as well. Jacqueline showed up at the ED's Delhi office around 3 p.m. today after skipping questioning four times.

Earlier, there were speculations that the actress would appear only after completing the Ooty schedule of ‘Ram Setu’. However, she has decided to appear in front of ED before the completion itself.

According to reports, Jacqueline could be a significant witness in the extortion case. Nora Fatehi, an actress, was recently questioned by the ED in connection with the same case.

On August 30, officials recorded Jacqueline's statement as a witness in the case for the last time. Jacqueline had missed summons on September 25, October 15, 16, and October 18 since then. According to reports, Chandrasekhar used to bring chocolates and flowers to Jacqueline. Reportedly, he communicated with her using spoofing technology to conceal his true name. Sukesh Chandrashekar allegedly preyed on Jacqueline through his girlfriend and partner Leena Paul.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Jacqueline was last seen in the film Bhoot Police. Her Hindi film Bachchan Pandey has completed shooting. Jacqueline’s other Hindi film Attack will release in January. She also has films like Cirkus, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, and Ram Sethu in the pipeline.
