Chiranjeevi Provides An Update On Taraka Ratna's Health; States He Is Recovering

On Tuesday, actor Chiranjeevi used Twitter to provide an update on Taraka Ratna's health. Taraka Ratna was recently admitted to the hospital after collapsing during a political march. He reportedly had a heart attack in Kuppam. Chiranjeevi expressed his relief at learning that Taraka is making a full recovery. Chiranjeevi provided a Telugu update. 'It was a great relief to hear that brother Taraka Ratna is recovering quickly and there is no further danger. Wishing him a full recovery soon and return home to those doctors who saved him from this situation. Thank God for that. May you have a long and healthy life dear Tarakaratna!', stated the tweet. On Friday, Nara Lokesh, the son of former chief minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, started a political rally that included Taraka. Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna revealed on Friday that Taraka Ratna had a severe heart attack. He was taken to the hospital immediately. Taraka Ratna was afterward taken to a hospital in Bangalore and is still in a coma. The Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Bengaluru, released a statement on Saturday with an update on its patient's condition. Their statement read, “He was found to have an Anterior Wall Myocardial Infarction with Balloon Angioplasty, on Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Vasoactive support. He was transferred to NH via road at 1 am on 28th January. On arriving at NH higher level diagnostics showed that his condition was highly critical due to the cardiogenic shock after the Myocardial Infarction. Evaluation of his condition will continue with treatment under standard guidelines and protocols.” Jr. NTR met his cousin on Sunday. He reported, “He’s fighting and responding to the medical treatment. Apart from his own willpower, he has our grandfather’s blessings and the prayers of all his well-wishers. He’s stable but critical. He’s not on ECMO.” The Telugu film Okato Number Kurradu marked the acting debut of the 39-year-old actor. The movie was released in 2002. He is well-known for his work in films like Raja Cheyyi Vesthe, Taarak, Bhadri Ramudu, and Manamantha. He most recently appeared in the Telugu online series 9 Hours on Disney+ Hotstar.
