The rapid spread of Coronavirus around the world has left everyone searching for a cure. Many celebrities around the world have stepped up to support charitable causes working against any further spread of the virus. Now Ryan Reynolds has pledged to donate money to charities.

Reynolds who plays the anti-hero Deadpool has chosen the good side of the superhero he plays on the big screen. The Canadian actor said that he and his wife will be donating USD 1 million dollars to two separate organizations which are helping in relief activities across Canada and America. The two charities are Feeding America and Food Banks Canada.

Earlier Reynolds tweeted out asking fans to donate for the cause. He wrote, 'I think we can all agree, Covid-19 is an asshole. If you can help, visit, https://t.co/gDZHbYYurJ and/or https://t.co/2fserjQQQs pic.twitter.com/4rb4WpoDKo'.

The actor urged his followers to take care of their health and help everyone we can. In a recent tweet, the actor wrote, 'COVID-19 has brutally impacted older adults and low-income families. Blake and I have donated a million-dollar Feeding America and Food Banks Canada. If you want to help, do it because these institutions need your help.'

As a funny gig, Reynolds shared a fake hotline number to his fans. Reynolds suggested that the number belongs to famous actor Hugh Jackman who plays Wolverine. Jackman and Reynolds both belong to the MCU now after Disney purchased Fox last year. Marvel head Kevin Feige confirmed that Ryan Reynolds will be back to play Deadpool in the next film. Hugh Jackman, however, will not be returning as Wolverine in future X-Men films.
