The nation woke up today to the saddening news of the demise of legendary Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar. Kumar, 98, was not in his best health for quite a while and was also frequently getting hospitalized for the same. The news spread shockwaves amongst the Bollywood fraternity who all paid their last tribute to the late actor through their social media.
 
Akshay Kumar was one of the first to mourn the demise of Dilip Kumar who wrote on his Twitter handle,

To the world many others may be heroes. To us actors, he was The Hero. #DilipKumar Sir has taken an entire era of Indian cinema away with him.
