Reacting to the controversy, Leena Manimkalai wrote on Twitter and wrote, 'The film revolves around the events that take place one evening when Kali appears and strolls the streets of Toronto. If you see the picture, don't put the hashtag 'arrest Leena Manimekalai' but put the hashtag 'love you Leena Manimekalai'.' A complaint has been registered against Leena for hurting religious sentiments. Reacting to the same, she wrote, ' I don't have anything to lose. Till I live, I would want to raise my voice without fear. If my life is the price for it, then I shall give it as well. ' The actress is currently pursuing a film-related course in Canada.
