Director Shankar and Thalapathy Vijay combination is the talk of the town in Kollywood filmnagar. Thalapathy Vijay awaits the release of his new movie Master and he is also in talks with other directors for his next. Already, A.R. Murugadoss and Vetrimaran are in talks with the actor but nothing has been confirmed yet. Meanwhile, we hear that Shankar and Vijay will work on the sequel of the prestigious film Oke Okkadu (Mudhalvan in Tamil).Both are planning to do this film for a long time and it looks like the script is finally ready. Action King Arjun played the lead role in the first part that released in 1999. But, the second part will feature Thalapathy Vijay, says the sources. Both the actor and director met recently to discuss about the film and have concluded doing it next year.As of now, Shankar has to finish Indian 2 (Bharatyeeudu 2 in Telugu) before starting any new movie. Most likely, the shoot of Indian 2 will also begin as soon as possible. By the time Shankar completes Indian 2, Vijay plans to finish his other commitments.Manisha Koirala played the leading lady in Mudhalvan but we have to see who will get lucky to come on board for the film.
