Free Guy movie: Taika Waititi new film drops first teaser trailer starring Ryan Reynolds.

Last night Taika Waititi's upcoming film Free Guy dropped its first trailer. The film is about a bank employee who realizes he is a part of a larger video game and must not take the role of a hero. The film is produced by Ryan Reynolds and directed by Shawn Levy. The teaser starts with a joke about the production house's last few films, before revealing that this new film is not a remake like the Lion King or Aladdin. The rest of the teaser features a jolly Reynolds going about life. His life is shown as surrounded by violence and all kinds of terrible things until he realizes it's all a game. Free Guy also stars Taika Waititi in a minor role. Waititi has a habit of doing cameos in all his films. Thor Ragnarok starred Waititi in the role of Korg, a rock-based monster. The film also stars Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, and Utkarsh Ambudkar. The film is set to release in July 2020.
