These days, small days are having a good run at the box-office if the content is decent enough to grab the attention of the audience. Thus, we have witnessed many content-oriented small-budget films having a dream run at the theatres. Now, another such film is gearing up to test its luck. It is Pressure Cooker, directed by newcomers Sujoi and Sushil.
The makers have planned to release the film in December last year but due to some unforeseen circumstances, it got postponed. In the press meet happened the other day, the team said that the film will hit the screens on February 21st, on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri.
Pressure Cooker is the story of a young man who gets pressurized by his parents to study and get a job in the USA. This is a common situation in most of the Telugu households and that makes it a relatable film, say the makers. Sai Ronak and Preethi Asrani played the lead roles in this movie. Rahul Ramakrishna, Rajai Rowan, Tanikella Bharani, Sangeetha, and CVL Narasimha Rao have essayed the other important characters. Popular music directors Sunil Kasyap, Rahul Sipligunj, and Harshavardhan Rameshwar have composed the songs in this film. Already, the audio is out and is receiving a good response from the audience.
