Sonakshi Sinha is actor who gained attention through her romantic heroine roles. Sonakshi has appeared in several films as the interest of male protagonists. After working as a costume designer for independent films, she made her acting debut portraying Rajjo Pandey in the action film Dabangg in 2010. Sonakshi was Last seen in Bhuj: The Pride of India starring Ajay Devgn.

Sonakshi has two films Kakuda and Double XL lined up in her pipeline. Now, the actor talks about her career. Sonakshi says she does not want to do any repetitive characters. She also talked about her experience acting in the film Kakuda.

“I don’t want to do anything that’s repetitive, ever. With every passing piece of work, I’m only attempting a new genre. Like the horror-comedy space. I don’t even watch horror films. In that sense, acting in one was tough. I have to admit that I enjoyed being a part of that crew. The process was so much fun. More than anything else today, the work has to offer some sort of a challenge to me. Trust me, even after working in a horror-comedy, I can’t watch one. I will make an exception to watch Kakuda because we did such interesting things. Like, I have realized that a lot of things depend on VFX in such films. On so many occasions, I found myself emoting or reacting to things that weren’t even there. I had to imagine them happening or being there. That’s the real challenge in this space;” said Sonakshi Sinha.

Sonakshi added that she want to do a negative character. “I badly want to play a negative character. I want to play a badass girl on screen. I really want to sink my teeth into something of that sort. I have never really played an outright badass. And that’s also because no one quite writes that kind of stuff for women. But I want to venture into that space. Now, that’s a challenge and that’s a space that I positively want to explore in the coming time,” she sums up.
