The eagerly anticipated movie Laal Singh Chaddha just came out. Even before it was launched, it was the subject of many controversies. Well, the movie, had Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya in key parts. The movie did poorly at the box office and was victimised by the social media boycott culture. Aamir and the movie received support from many celebs. In a recent interview with India Today, Anupam Kher responded to the boycott culture. He also called out the PK actor by bringing up a previous remark he made about intolerance.
 
Anupam Kher commented on the boycott culture in an interview with India Today. He was saying “If someone feels that they should start a trend, they are free to do so. There are new trends on Twitter every day.” The actor has collaborated with Aamir Khan on cult classics like Dil, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, and others. Aamir's remark about intolerance was mocked by The Kashmir Files star, who continued, “If you have said something in the past, it will surely haunt you.”
 
There have been circulating articles claiming that the film's underperformance has caused the distributors of Laal Singh Chaddha to incur significant losses. The film's producers and distributors provided clarification on the subject. They denied rumours that some distributors wanted payment for the film's poor performance. The creators verified this in an exclusive interview with ETimes. They saying the situation is entirely different.
 
Ajit Andhare, who also serves as the CEO of Viacom 18, refuted all rumours of payment for losses and stated, “There are no external distributors, it being distributed by V18Studios, and no money is lost in the first place. The film is still running in theatres, both in India & internationally. This is baseless speculation.”
