Ram Charan became a villain to the directorial debut plans of ace cinematographer Ratnavelu once upon a time.
Rathnavelu is one of the most popular and talented cinematographers in Tollywood. The cameraman has already impressed the audience with his outstanding camera work in so many big-budget movies.
But Rathnavelu always had a dream of becoming a director. In fact, he planned to two wield the megaphone for his debut movie 7 years ago but failed to do so. When he was up preparing everything to mark his directorial debut 7 years ago, Superstar Rajinikanth
reportedly called him and offered him 'Robo' movie. As it is a prestigious project and Rajnikanth himself has given this opportunity to Rathnavelu, he worked as the cinematographer for that film and postponed his directional thoughts. Later he also worked for Ram Charan
's biggest blockbuster 'Rangasthalam' movie and Charan has reportedly stopped Rathnavelu from becoming a director. Ram Charan has stated that industry is in need of such talented technicians and gave Megastar's prestigious project, 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy
After 'Sye Raa', Rathnavelu is also cranking the camera for Kamal Haasan
's 'Bharateeyudu 2'. We have to wait and see if Rathnavelu will concentrate on the direction after wrapping up these prestigious projects or not.
