Star actress Kajal Aggarwal
got an invitation from Odia Film Industry to attend as an honorable guest for the upcoming 10th Ruchi Odia Filmfare Awards event. But the actress canceled her visit due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. She further requested people to stay safe.
'Due to the declared pandemic of coronavirus and to ensure public safety, my absence at the upcoming 10th Ruchi Odia Filmfare awards on 15/03/2020 at Janta Maidan, Bhubaneswar is deeply regretted, will see you very soon on a further decided date. Stay safe everyone,' tweeted Kajal last night.
Odia Filmfare Awards event will happen on the 15th of March at Janta Maidan in Bhubaneshwar. Veteran Ollywood actor Ajit Das will get conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to Odia cinema. But the event will miss the presence of Kajal for sure. Kajal Aggarwal is trying her best to be on the safe side. Since she has to move from one place to another place, she is making sure to be safe and stay away from social gatherings.
On the career front, Kajal is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming Telugu film Mosagallu. Manchu Vishnu
plays the lead role in this movie. She is also acting alongside Kamal Haasan in Indian 2 which is being directed by Shankar. Kajal is also shooting for Hindi film Mumbai Saga, which is being helmed by Sanjay Gupta. John Abraham, Suneil Shetty, and Emraan Hashmi play the lead roles in this film.
