Does Katrina Kaif accept to play a female lead in Sooryavanshi?Rohit Shetty is known for his larger than cop entertainers and his comedy flicks now he is working on Sooryavanshi another cop flick in his Singam franchise. He last directed movie Simmba starring Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan which was released in December of last year created rage at box office and performance Ranveer was hugely appreciated. Rohit Shetty already introduced Akshay Kumar in Simmba with a scintillating cameo. But as of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the female lead in Sooryavanshi. As per the latest update, it is said that Katrina Kaif accepts to play a female lead in Sooryavanshi.There were many rumors that Jacqueline Fernandez was roped in Sooryavanshi. But a closed source from the film Sooryavanshi it was said makers are keen to cast Katrina Kaif as a love interest of Akshay in Sooryavanshi. Akshay and Katrina Kaif were considered as one of the best pairs in Bollywood. There are known for their films like Namastey London, Singh Is King and Welcome who set the stage on fire with their beautiful chemistry. The reason casting Katrina in this cop movie, a source states that Katrina who performance action sequence in Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zindha Hai is apt to play a female lead in this movie.However, we still await an official statement from the makers regarding the female lead. Sooryavanshi is the third segment next to Singam and Simmba. Rohit Shetty is also in plans to make a film based on female lead which will be perfect farewell for his cop universe. Akshay will be seen as ATS officer Sooryavanshi in this movie, the first look released impressed the fans and commercial movie lovers. This movie is all set to release in 2020 summer. Rohit Shetty also has plans to make another film on Golmaal series as he already hinted in Simmba movie with guest appearance of Golmaal actors in Aankh Maare track.
