Kannada cinema's Rocking Star Yash became popular with the grand success of 'KGF: Chapter 1' under the direction of Prashanth Neel. Now, the actor is going to come up with the much-awaited sequel of the film, entitled 'KGF: Chapter 2'. As per the latest reports, Yash got an opportunity to work with classic director Mani Ratnam. Mani Ratnam's last film was 'Nawab', which was a disaster at the box office. Despite having some failures, Mani Ratnam has a large and dedicated fan base. The legendary filmmaker has been enthralling audiences for generations now. The audience loves his films and his style of film making. The director is currently busy with his dream project, 'Ponniyin Selvan', and the buzz is that Yash is a part of it.
We already know that Mani Ratnam is currently focusing on his upcoming movie 'Ponniyin Selvan' which is going to be a pan-Indian, multi-starrer movie. Actors like Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Ashwin, Jayaram, etc are playing crucial roles in this movie. As per the latest reports, Mani Ratnam is planning to rope in Yash to play a special role in this movie.
With the help of Suhasini, Mani Ratnam has reportedly approached Yash, who listened to the script and has given the green signal. Yash is going to play the role of a Pandya king in the film, and has allowed 30 days call sheets for this film. The shooting will be resumed after the lockdown.
