The coronavirus quarantine has left people homebound. People have been trying to keep themselves occupied. Celebrities too are doing the same thing. Some celebrities have been focusing on their fitness and some are trying to pick up new skills. One such celebrity is Kajal Aggarwal. She has been learning how to cook during the lockdown. The actress had been posting photos of her food experiments. The actress has also been sharing the recipes she has been following. Here! take a look, you might want to try them out yourself!
 
Samosas: Aggarwal posted a picture of her first attempt at making samosas at home. The actress posted a picture of her holding a yummy samosa. She also shared a video of her making the samosa with her mom.
 
Carrot Cake: The actress was quite happy with her carrot cake recipe. She posted a picture with the caption, 'Carrot cake. Perfect tea time snack to satisfy those mid-day cravings. #glutenfree #sugarfree #lowcalorie #paleo #homemade. (recipe courtesy: @shaanadiya ) .' She also posted the recipe by Shaandiya. Recipe: 11/2 cup almond flour 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg 1/2 tsp ground ginger (optional) 3 eggs 2 tbsp honey 1/8th cup coconut oil (ghee/ butter) 1.5 cups grated carrots 1/2 cup lightly toasted pecan nuts (or any nuts of your choice) 1 tbsp flax seeds (optional) 1/2 tsp orange rind (optional) 2-3 dates Mix well and bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 mins.
 
3) Quinoa Brownies: Kajal also learned to make a dark chocolate and peanut butter Quinoa brownies. She yet again posted a picture with the simple recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
 
1/2 cup peanut butter (I like @thebutternutco ) 2 tablespoons melted unrefined coconut oil 1 cup organic coconut sugar 1/2 cup maple syrup/ agave nectar or honey 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 2 eggs (I used 2 tablespoons of egg replacer powder in 4 tablespoons water and allowed it to sit for a minute) 3/4 teaspoon fine sea salt 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 2/3 cup quinoa flour (I like Bob’s red mill) 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips 1/4th cup peanut butter chips (optional but I like being generous with this )

DIRECTIONS:
 
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, then take an 8 x 8” baking dish, Lightly spray with oil and set aside.
Mix all the wet ingredients separately and the ingredients in a separate bowl. With the help of a spatula, fold in the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, add the egg replace last. Fold in the peanut butter chips and pour into the baking dish. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the batter before baking. Bake for 25 mins. Insert a fork, if it comes out dry the brownies are ready, or else bake for 5 mins longer.
