Major, starring Adivi Sesh, came out in June of this year. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, a hero from September 11, 2001, was profiled in the movie. Both the critics and the public had favourable things to say about the movie. The movie has added another pearl to its crown in addition to receiving favourable reviews and enjoying box office success by being chosen as a Hindi language feature for the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
Adivi Sesh, who was utterly overjoyed, expressed his thoughts in a Mid-Day report by saying, “It's a very proud moment for me. At the time when I was informed that Major has been selected at IFFI for its Hindi category, it really made me happy and it was a surreal feeling. It's a special moment for the entire team who have put their heart and soul into this film'. Major was shot in both Telugu and Hindi at the same time. Along with this, 25 feature films and 20 non-feature films from their respective categories have also been chosen at IFFI, including movies like RRR and Jai Bhim. The first pan-Indian film to be chosen as a Hindi-only picture is Major, though.
Prakash Raj, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Revathi, Murali Sharma, and Anish Kuruvilla were among the other actors in the movie in addition to Sesh. Sashi Kiran Tikka served as the director, and G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, Sony Pictures International Productions, and A+S Movies worked together to produce it.
On the professional front, the 36-year-old actor is working on a number of projects, including the HIT sequel. Strangely, HIT 2 is rumoured to debut on December 2, 2022. Menakshii Chaudhary, Rao Ramesh, Bhanu Chander, Posani Krishna Murali, Tanikella Bharani, Srikanth Maganti, and Komali Prasad will also appear in the next movie.
