Massive OTT Deal For Trivikram-Mahesh Film

Director Trivikram Srinivas's movies have a following of their own among Telugu audiences. His last film, Ala Vaikuntapuramlo, turned out to be the biggest success of his career, and has done very well at the box office, gaining a very good following in the North as well. The movie was released on Netflix, and did extremely well on the streaming platform. As a result, Netflix is said to have offered a very good price for the director's upcoming movie with Superstar Mahesh Babu. Netflix is said to have offered a whopping amount of Rs. 80 Crores for the streaming rights of SSMB28. This is the first time that any Mahesh Babu film received such a huge offer. Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela are the leading ladies of this film, for which SS Thaman is the music director. More details about the film's cast are yet to be announced. The script of the film is said to have been modified, and the fight sequence that was shot last year has been canned. The film is currently being shot, with the movie said to be the perfect family and action entertainer. The expectations on the film are naturally quite high, as Mahesh and Trivikram previously delivered classics like Athadu and Khaleja. While Khaleja didn't work as well as expected when it was first released, it has turned out to be a cult classic. After Mahesh is done with this film, he will begin preparing for director SS Rajamouli's film. The film is expected to be made on a massive scale, which has never been seen in Indian cinema before.
