Mega Powerstar Ram Charan's screen time gets shortened for Chiranjeevi's Acharya; Read on to know the reason
Ram Charan is not only producing his father's film Acharya but is also on board to play a special role in the film which now turned out to be a cameo but the official confirmation on the same will be out once the shoot resumes.

Megastar Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva joined hands for the prestigious project Acharya. Mega Power Star Ram Charan is producing the movie under his Konidela Productions Company. This is Charan's third movie with his father Chiranjeevi, after Khaidi No.150, and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The initial reports revealed that Ram Charan is on board to play a special role in the film, which will have screen time, close to 30 minutes. Now, we hear that it has been shortened.Going by the latest reports in the filmnagar, Rajamouli who initially accepted to sacrifice Ram Charan's dates has now changed his mind. With the ongoing situations, Rajamouli decided to shoot the movie with Ram Charan as early as possible. Rajamouli also does not want Charan to be seen in a full-length role before RRR, in any movie. But, considering the request of Chiranjeevi, he has now made up his mind to allow Charan to do the film for a few days.Earlier, the team considered Superstar Mahesh Babu for the same role. But, now, the makers are planning to go ahead without a change in the casting. The role gotten shortened now and Charan will only act in the film unless the makers come up with a new decision.Kajal Aggarwal plays the romantic interest of Chiranjeevi in the film.
