The intense box office clash between these two biggies will be closely monitored by trade analysts and common audience alike.
Going by veteran hero Nagarjuna's latest comments, we might have another entrant into the already intense Sankranthi race.
Nagarjuna announced that he will start working on Bangarraju, the sequel to box office super hit Soggade Chinni Naayana, which released during 2016 Sankranthi.'Bangarraju pre-production works are in full swing and we are planning to commence shoot from this June or July. If everything falls into place, we will be releasing the film in theatres next Sankranthi.'
It appears to be that not one or two, but three Telugu biggies will be locking horns against each other next Sankranthi. Back in 2020, Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru and Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo clashed at the box office during the Sankranthi season. Tollywood night be witnessing an even bigger encounter in 2022.
Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Pawan Kalyan's PSPK27, and Bangarraju are in various stages of production and the makers of these films have more than enough time to lock the release dates. With a high-octane clash seeming imminent, the producers of these three biggies will be eyeing to lock the optimal weekend release dates in order to boost their box office prospects.
