There has been many speculations doing rounds regarding Ranbir Kapoor's health after his uncle confirmed he's sick. But now, all that has been put to rest by Neetu Kapoor who shared a post giving an update about her son's health. On Tuesday, Neetu Kapoor shared a post on social media confirming that Ranbir Kapoor has contracted the COVID-19 but also assures his fans that he's recovering well.
'Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions,' her post read as she shared a photo of her son Ranbir Kapoor on her Instagram handle. Ranbir's sister Ridhima Kapoor instantly commented on the post wishing brother good health and recovery. Karisma Kapoor also commented on the post.
Meanwhile, there are also reports confirming that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has also contracted the virus and is currently self quarantine. Alia Bhatt, who had been with both Sanjay and her boyfriend Ranbir, is awaiting her test results. She has also quarantined herself. There is no news or official confirmation regarding the same from Alia Bhatt's side yet. Meanwhile, the two were moving ahead for the next step in their Brahmastra release. A few days back, Alia had shared a throwback picture from the sets of Brahmastra where she, Ranbir and Ayan Mukerji were seen sitting in front of the idol of Goddess Kali.
