Earlier today Netflix released news over halting the production for their upcoming film Red Notice. Red Notice stars Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock. The film began shooting in February and was currently shooting in Atlanta. The film has now been put under a two-week hiatus. However, sources confirmed that the crew of the film will be paid during the halt.

The famous wrestler turned actor Dwayne Johnson himself shared a video on his social media announcing the halt. In the video, the star said, 'It’s my privilege to speak eye to eye with our entire crew to help give a little clarity and guidance, as the most important thing right now is for us to get everyone home to their concerned families. Gotta protect our babies, spouses, loved ones and elderly.'

The actor also said that they will continue to monitor the situation and take any appropriate action if the situation calls for it.

“We’re a resilient nation who ultimately, will always rise to the occasion to be accountable and work together to overcome whatever hardship lies in front of us. Our country will do its job, as the rest of the world will do theirs,” he said.

The actor shared an optimistic message asking everyone to stay safe and take care of each other and especially of the elderly.

Rawn Marshall Thurber is directing Red Notice. Netflix is producing the film. This is the second time Gal Gadot will be joining Dwayne Johnson for a film after their brief encounter in the Fast and Furious franchise.
