Nikhil Siddharth leaning into a new career choice - direction!

Nikhil got married to his girlfriend Dr. Pallavi Varma, on May 14 amidst the pandemic. Siddharth started as an assistant director for the film Hyderabad Nawaabs. After playing minor roles in few films Nikhil rose to fame with Sekhar Kammula's college drama Happy Days (2007) in which he played as one of the 4 leads. He continued his career as a lead actor in films such as Yuvatha, Alasyam Amrutham, Veedu Theda, Karthikeya, Surya vs Surya, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada, Keshava, Kirrak Party, and Arjun Suravaram. Nikhil had his breakthrough in 2013 with Swamy Ra Ra which went on to be listed as the top 10 Telugu films of the decade 2010-2020. Nikhil recently glimpsed in comedian Ali’s talk show - Ali Tho Saradaga. During the show, the 35 years old actor revealed that he will be leaning into a new career choice as a director with an experimental children film. Nikhil also gave a peek of the film’s first look poster. Going by the poster, it looks like Nikhil is coming up with an adventurous thriller. “All the norms of social distancing will be followed on sets,” Nikhil said. On a career front, Nikhil is waiting to complete the shoot of his film Karthikeya 2 which is the sequence of the film Karthikeya (2014) a mystery thriller film written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti.
