Official: Pushpa: The Rise Locks Christmas Release

Pushpa: The Rise, Allu Arjun's maiden pan-India film has stuck to its original release plans. The film has locked the Christmas release slot and the makers announced the same a short while back.

As per the latest announcement from the makers of Pushpa: The Rise, the Allu Arjun starrer will be releasing in theatres on the 17th of December. The idea is to cash in on the Christmas holiday season.
Pushpa: The Rise will now be one of the first pan-India films to release in theatres after the Covid second wave. The makers are planning an aggressive promotional campaign to build up the hype for the film across the country ahead of its release. The second single from the audio album will be out soon.
The filming part will be completed in a few days from now and the post-production will be carried out at a brisk pace soon after. The action-thriller is directed by Sukumar.
It is known that Allu Arjun underwent a stunning transformation for the film. He plays a sandalwood smuggler in the film. Fahadh Faasil plays the antagonist while Rashmika will be seen as Allu Arjun's love interest. Mythri Movie Makers are funding the project.
The entire filming part is expected to be wrapped up by the end of October and the post-production is set to commence correspondingly. More promotional material will be unveiled by the makers in the days to follow. It is known that Pushpa is being made in two parts.
