The rising number of coronavirus cases, coupled with the shortage of supply of oxygen, vaccines and other medical equipment, has led India towards a crisis. More than 3 lakh cases are being reported everyday with no signs of relief in the near future. In such difficult times, the world stands united with each other and many countries are exporting oxygen to India. While some reports suggest that the United States might have extra doses of the coronavirus vaccine called AstraZeneca, global star Priyanka Chopra has appealed to the government to help India.

In her tweet on Tuesday, Priyanka Chopra seeked vaccines for India as the US has 'more than needed'.

My heart breaks. India is suffering from COVID19 & the US has ordered 550M more vaccines than needed @POTUS @WHCOS @SecBlinken @JakeSullivan46 Thx for sharing AstraZeneca worldwide, but the situation in my country is critical. Will you urgently share vaccines w/ India? #vaxlive
