Director Bhadran praised the film Pyali, which is being brought to the audience by Dulquer Salmaan's production and distribution company, Wayfarer Films. Bhadran wrote on Facebook that teachers should take the initiative to show such films to this generation. Instead of showing the Panipat wars and other unimportant films, films like Pyali should be shown. The story of the film revolves around a young girl named Pyali.
Bhadran's words:
I became excited when I saw the trailer of the movie 'Pyali' by chance. It is certain that the companies that are not able to influence the theatres will destroy the film. The spirit inside that movie was such great content. This is a film that each of you should show our children with your family. ``Pyali'' was one of those rare films that touched me the most when I was on the jury in the previous State Awards Committee. With its tight screenplay and like the footsteps of a child chasing a butterfly, the movement behind the story of the frames was brilliant. Rin and Babita brought the film up like a poem with the skill of a mother who recognized the child in the embryo and caressed the child who was alive in movement.
Babita and Rin wrote and directed the film Pyali. The film is produced by Sofia Varghese, daughter of the late actor N F Varghese. The film is produced under the banner of Varghese Pictures. Pyali’s theme is fraternal love. George Jacob plays Pyali’s brother.
Mamukoya, Appani Sarath, Rafi, Altaf Salim, and Sujith Shankar will play the other roles. Aadukalam Murugadoss, who is notable for his films Visaranai and Aadukalam, also plays a major role in Pyali. Jiju Sunny is the cinematographer of the film. The music director of the film is Prashanth Pillai.
