Director Prabu Solomon's Kaadan was supposed to release in theatres on April 2 2020. However, due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the film's release was postponed by a year. On March 3, the makers of Kaadan released the film's trailer on World Wildlife Day. The three minute long trailer shows Rana Daggubati fighting for the elephants and against deforestation. Apart from releasing the trailer, the makers launched the audio in the presence of media at Satyam Cinemas in Chennai.
Speaking at the audio launch, Prabu Solomon said, 'We're glad to have this meet during on World Wildlife Day. Kaadan is based on real life incidents that happened in Assam. The film is about deforestation and elephants. Though we shot the film long ago, the current scenario in our world is an example to what would happen if we disturb nature. The efforts our cast and crew put into this film are amazing.' Rana Daggubati said, 'The people of Tamil Nadu give the same platform to all kind of films. Kaadan has been a four year journey. The elephants I worked with have thought me that I'm very much a part of nature.'

When man's greed takes over, the jungle rises for an epic war. Will good win over evil?
The battle has just begun.
