RRR Update: Alia Bhatt in quarantine, RRR song shooting delayed

Alia Bhatt was all set to shoot for a song in Hyderabad later this week starting from March 12th. The song sequence was to star Alia and Ram Charan. However, Alia has now gone into quarantine after the news of Sanjay Leela Bhansali testing positive for the coronavirus made headlines. RRR's shooting schedule is now slightly delayed. The makers will have to wait and tread with precaution. Alia Bhatt has been in close proximity to Sanjay Leela Bhansali as they have been working together on Gangubai Kathiawadi. Alia's rumoured boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor has also tested positive. The teams of Gangubai Kathiawadi and Ranbir's Brahamstra have now gone into quarantine. Sources say members of both films have taken COVID-19 tests. Ranbir Kapoor's mother Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram to share the news of Ranbir home quarantining on Tuesday. Alia has reportedly tested negative but has decided to self-isolate for precautionary reasons. Mumbai has also seen a spike in COVID-19 cases recently. Sources say many filmmakers have delayed their shooting owing to the spike.
