The negligence of North Indians towards South India is not a new trend. It is continuing for ages. They call all the South Indians as Madrasis. They spell Kannada as Kannad and Telugu as Telegu. Even a global streaming platform like Amazon Prime Video is making such mistakes. The subtitles of the film Chak De India spelled Telugu as Telegu. Hero Sai Dharam Tej pointed it out and tried to educate the team of Prime Video.
Yesterday, Sai Dharam Tej shared the particular clip from Chak De India. For one of the dialogues, Telugu got spelled as Telegu. Along with the video, he wrote, 'Spell check it’s #Telugu not telegu. @PrimeVideoIN. Thank you.' The team of Amazon Prime Video is yet to respond to this request. Meanwhile, people are appreciating Tej for pointing it out on a public platform. A celebrity pointing out mistakes will have more impact than the ones pointed out by a common man.
On the work front, Sai Dharam Tej was last seen in the movie Prathi Roju Pandaage. This family entertainer went on to become the biggest blockbuster in his career. He is currently working on Solo Brathuke So Better. Directed by newcomer Subbu, this film features Nabha Natesh as the female lead. Recently, a song called 'No Pelli' got released from this film and is getting a thumping response from the audiences. The film is in the final stages of its shoot and will hit the screens towards the end of this year.
