Saina's director Amole Gupte is impressed with Shraddha Kapoor's hard work, says 'I want to work with her again'

Shraddha Kapoor, who was the first choice for Saina Nehwal's biopic called Saina, opted out of the film due to lack of dates. She had shot for some scenes in the film, which were reshot with Parineeti Chopra later on. Talking about Shraddha's dedication and hardwork, director Amole Gupte is all praises for the actress and says he would want to work with her again. 'Shraddha is someone who puts in a lot of efforts, which is why we could start the first day with her.” Adding further praises, Gupte said, “The way she turned herself, like coming in at 5.30 am to Sion or Dharavi for the practice is commendable.” Whether Shraddha's decision to opt out affected their relationship, Amole said that it was unfortunate she had to opt out but it was no fault of hers. 'It was unfortunate that she got the dengue attack. By the time she came out of it there were people who already lined up for her next assignment. How long could a project wait and that’s when we brought in Parineeti Chopra to essay the part of Saina.” Saina released in theatres today. The film now stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead role.
