Samantha Ruth Prabhu Posts A Selfie; Appeals For Kindness Among People

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has encouraged people to show kindness to one another as she prepares for the premiere of her new Telugu movie, Shaakuntalam. Samantha posted a selfie to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday. She further stated that nobody is aware of the forms of battles that people are engaged in.
 
Samantha took a close-up selfie and glanced in front of her. The actor was dressed in a grey outfit in the photo. She captioned, “You never know what battles people fight... Be kind!!.”
 
Samantha has experienced a lot personally during the past two years. She was identified as having the uncommon auto-immune disease Myositis in November of last year. While addressing at the Shaakuntalam trailer premiere last month, an emotional Samantha noted that despite all of her recent personal problems, her love of movies hasn't changed.
 
“No matter how many struggles I face in life, one thing won’t change. That’s how much I love cinema and cinema loves me back. I strongly believe that this love will grow manifold with Shaakuntalam,” she had remarked.
 
Following Samantha's revelation of her uncommon ailment, reports that she had been hospitalized made headlines. Samantha discussed her condition during a promotional interview for her most recent album, Yashoda. She said in an interview, “As I said in my post (Instagram), some days are good, some are bad. Some days, I’ve felt even taking one more step would be difficult. But when I look back, I wonder I’ve gone through so much and have come this far. I’m here to fight.”
 
Samantha further stated that her condition is not life-threatening at this point. “I want to clear one thing. I saw a lot of articles describing my condition as life-threatening. The stage I’m in, it’s not life-threatening. At the moment, I’m not dead yet. I don’t think those headlines were very necessary”.
 
Samantha made time last week to go to the Pazhani shrine in Tamil Nadu. She ascended 600 steps, lighting camphor as part of a ritual to reach the summit of the temple. Social media was flooded with images and videos of her visit.
