If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, Sarileru Neekevvaru producer Anil Sunkara is going to bankroll this project.
Earlier, it was widely reported that Chiru will work on the remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer. Even Chiru told the same in a television interview. He also stated that Saaho director Sujeeth will direct this project. However, it seems that the Annayya actor was unhappy with the narration of Sujeeth. Thus, the project got shelved. If everything goes as planned, this project will go on the floors next year. Anil Sunkara scored a massive success with Sarileru Neekevvaru. Currently, Chiranjeevi is working on the film Acharya. Directed by Koratala Siva, this movie features Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. Ram Charan is essaying the other key role in it. Charan is also producing the film along with Niranjan Reddy. Acharya will hit the screens in 2021.
