Sebastian Stan says The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is in many ways similar to 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'

Disney Plus has a long line of Marvel shows on its hand. One of the most awaited of these shows include The Falcon and The Winter Soldier starring Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Stan has revealed that his upcoming show is jam-packed with massive action set pieces. Stan returns as the iconic Winter Soldier for the show and he will be uniting with Mackie's Falcon to fight Hydra.

 

Stan also said that the show is on the same lines as Captain America: The Winter Soldier. He said, 'In a lot of ways, it felt like a movie. Again, we're not finished; we still have some stuff to do. What I loved about it was that, tonally, it was very much in the same world that 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' was, which was one of my favorite experiences that I've ever had, period.'

 

'So, in a sense, it was grounded and very much in the world as we know it. But, it's also really jam-packed with a lot of massive, massive action scenes mixed with a deep focus on character. That's what's really exciting about this,' he added.

 

'We're getting to keep it in the world of the movies, so it's recognizable that way, but at the same time, these characters are getting so much more mileage for all of us to explore them, ' Stan concluded.

 

Malcolm Spellman has created the upcoming show titled The Falcons and The Winter Soldier. The show also stars Emily VanCamp, Wyat Russell and Daniel Bruhl.
