Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor movie teaser to release on his birthday

After the success of his film Hero, Sivakarthikeyan has been busy with the production of his upcoming film Doctor, which is helmed by the actor's best friend Nelson Dilipkumar. In December 2020, he had announced that the shooting of Doctor movie has been wrapped up. While Doctor was supposed to release in 2020, the shooting had to be halted due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The team resumed the shooting after 8 months and then wrapped up the remaining portions. Now, Doctor movie is ready for release and the makers are now finalising the release date. Sivakarthikeyan will be celebrating his 36th birthday on February 17. Now, reports are rife that the makers have planned to release the film's teaser on his birthday. However, an official announcement regarding the same is yet to be made by the makers. As of now, Doctor will hit the theatres sometime in summer 2021. On Sivakarthikeyan's birthday, fans can expect the Doctor team to announce the film's release date as well. Doctor movie marks the debut of actress Priyanka Arul Mohan, who acted in Nani's Gang Leader. The film also features Vijay Rai, Yogi Babu, Ilavarasu and Archana Chandhoke in supporting rules.
