Star Wars is one of the long-running and most popular film franchises in the world. One of its parts is the 2018 release Solo: A Star Wars Story. It was a flop at the box office. From the last few months, it is being heavily reported that Disney is keen on making a sequel for this film. But now, the film's co-writer Jonathan Kasdan has confirmed that no one is pursuing Solo sequel as a feature film right now. He also added that it won't even land up on Disney+ as the platform now has enough Star Wars content.

Recently, a twitter user asked Jonathan Kasdan whether there is any progress in the making of Solo's sequel. He also asked whether it will get released as a Disney+ original. Replying to him, he said, 'Don't think anyone's pursuing a Solo sequel at the moment I think a feature, at this point, would be a tough sell and the D+ Star Wars slate is really...pretty packed, all shows I'm looking forward to.'

Thus, Jonathan cleared all the air on the sequel of Solo. However, we have to wait for a few more days to see if Disney comes up with an announcement regarding Solo's sequel in the future. For those who are unaware, Solo: The Star Wars Story is the least grossing film of the franchise. The last release of the franchise is Star Wars: The Rise of the Skywalker. It is the episode IX of the franchise. Directed by JJ Abrams, it had hit the screens on December 16. It received mixed reviews but earned well at the box office.
