Thalapathy 67: Sanjay Dutt Joins Vijay And Lokesh Kanagaraj's Film

As moviegoers eagerly anticipate Thalapathy Vijay's Thalapathy67, the film's producers have added a new member to the cast. Sanjay Dutt will appear in this eagerly awaited drama after working his magic as Adheera in the Yash starring KGF: Chapter 2 film. The production company Seven Screen Studio tweeted the good news. They said,

The words 'When I heard the one lined of Thalapathy67, I knew in that exact moment I had to be a part of this film, and I'm thrilled to start this journey, Thalapthy Vijay', were printed on the poster. Sanjay Dutt will portray one of the villains in Thalapathy 67. It was previously revealed that he will receive a significant payment of Rs. 10 cr. to appear in Lokesh Kanagaraj's film. According to a source familiar with the project, “The script demands the presence of multiple powerful villains and who better than Sanjay Dutt to play one of the many baddies in this yet untitled film. Lokesh has been in conversation with Sanjay Dutt for a while now and things have finally fallen into place. The actor is been paid a gigantic amount of Rs. 10 cr. to act in the film.' The producers of Thalapathy67 just issued an official announcement yesterday. It said,

The team has Philomin Raj on board as the editor. Lokesh Kangaraj wrote the screenplay for the movie. For those who are unaware, the gangster drama Thalapathy67 will also be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe or LCU. According to sources, Trisha Krishnan will play a major role in this film while Thalapathy Vijay plays a thug in his 40s. Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna most recently appeared in Vamshi Paidipally's family comedy Varisu.
