The #GreenIndiaChallenge has gone a level higher with Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay posting a series of pictures of himself planting a sapling in his courtyard.

Actor Mahesh Babu, on his birthday, planted one and carry forwarded the challenge by tagging Vijay. So Thapalathy took to his Twitter handle and wrote, 'This is for you @urstrulyMahesh garu. Here’s to a Greener India and Good health. Thank you #StaySafe.' (sic)

To this, Mahesh replied, 'Thanks a lot brother for taking this up. Stay safe!' (sic)

This conversation between the two most popular actors down the south is going viral as fans go gaga over what their favourite actors are up to.

Fans of Vijay are super happy as they finally got to see their favourite star after a long gap. Already, many are disappointed as Master’s release has been postponed due to COVID. So Vijay’s pics are like a relief to them now.

Meanwhile, film critic Prashanth Rangaswamy also shared the same post but with a slight change.

He wrote, 'Dear Vijay annan fans - Take this as an inspiration. Consider him challenging you all. Plant a tree and show the world what you can do !! All fans club heads should start planning for a mass movement !!' (sic)

Well, this is definitely a good and big thought. If all of us plant one, we can bring a huge change to this environment.
