Tollywood pampers its actors: Sai Pallavi

Actress Sai Pallavi is awaiting the release of her upcoming film Virata Parvam which has Rana Daggubati in the lead role. The film is directed by Venu Udugula and has actors like Priyamani, Zarina Wahib, Eashwari Rao, Nivetha Pethuraj and other actors as well playing key roles. Sai Pallavi, in a recent interview, said that working with Rana has been a great experience. Talking about how Rana has been, she said, “He’s truly phenomenal. Generally on posters, even if the woman has a bigger role to play, the man’s name will always be on top. And it’s something we have always come to accept. But Rana told me he would want my name on the title cards ahead of his because I play an important role in the film. It’s not something I thought about, wanted or even asked for. I just wanted to act and do my job. But he thought of it, it truly takes confidence to do that. Rana believes in equality and it’s a blessing to work with him.” Sai Pallavi is very professional and always makes sure she minds her business on the sets of the film. She even said Tollywood is a great place to work, for actors and added that the filmmakers here definitely pamper the stars.
