Uppena fame Krithi Shetty to pair up opposite Nikhil Siddarth in 18 Pages

Actor Nikhil Siddharth scored a super hit with his last film Arjun Suravaram. He has recently launched his new project 18 pages, which is being directed by Palnati Surya Pratap. The regular shooting of the film is yet to begin. Meanwhile, we hear that the makers are planning to rope in Kriti Shetty as the leading lady of the movie. Kriti is soon making her debut into the Telugu film industry with the upcoming film Uppena. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, this film features Panja Vaishnav Tej as the lead hero. This movie was initially slated for the release on April 2nd but it now got postponed due to the current coronavirus pandemic. Popular director Sukumar wrote the script of Uppena. Sukumar also penned the story and screenplay of 18 pages. We hear that he suggested to the makers of 18 pages to rope in Kriti as the heroine of the film. Apparently, producer Bunny Vaas also gave his nod to Sukumar's idea. An official announcement will get announced once Kriti signs the film. Kriti made her debut as a child actress with the 2009 Kannada film Sarigama. She then acted in various films like Saghakkal, Kondaan Koduthan, Pandiya Naadu, Maanga and Super 30. 18 Pages is being presented by Allu Aravind. Bunny Vaas is bankrolling the project under the banner GA2 Pictures. Gopi Sunder is composing the music of the film. On the flip side, Nikhil also started shooting for his other project Karthikeya 2.
