Varisu Director Vamshi Paidipally Struggling Once Again

Director Vamshi Paidipally managed to score a good hit with Varisu recently. The film features Tamil actor Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the lead role, while Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady. Varisu managed to collect over Rs. 500 Crores at the global box office but was subjected to a lot of criticism and trolls because of a weak plot and story. Even though the film turned out to be a success in Tamil Nadu, there were success celebrations for the movie, and no one is talking about the film anymore either. On the other hand, Vamshi Paidipally has garnered a sort of negative image through this film, seemingly, for making a movie with very familiar themes and very little novelty. Incidentally, Varisu is the same script that Superstar Mahesh Babu had rejected, after which Vamshi got the script approved by Vijay. Vamshi is now in a tight fix as he is looking to work with big actors in Telugu next, but no one is free enough. Almost every top actor in Tollywood is committed to several projects and does not have any free dates. Vamshi is said to be looking at either Prabhas or Allu Arjun for the film, but the chances of either of them accepting to do a film with him are less. Given that Vamshi has not been able to impress the Telugu audience with Vaarasudu, it is likely that the director won't be able to get Prabhas or Bunny's approval. Vamshi delivered a flop with Prabhas earlier. So, it is to be seen what will happen.
