Actor Vidharth has been roped in to play the antagonist in Hop Hop Adhi's Anbarivu. The film features Hip Hop Adhi, Kashmira Pardesi, and Napoleon in lead roles.
Actor Viddharth says, “Initially, I was little surprised on how Aswin Raam could imagine me in a negative role. In most of the commercial and offbeat films that I worked on so far, my characterizations have mostly been softer ones. However, as Aswin kept narrating the script, I just believed that this role would help me explore my potentials in a different dimension. It was a blind hope and trust on director Aswin, and I just carried out what he demanded out of my characterization. But to see the great response for my screen presence and mannerisms in the visual promos, I feel elated. A director becomes successful when they can visualize an actor in the respective role; they have created and gets it materialized. In this aspect, I am so happy that Tamil cinema has got a talented filmmaker, who is going to deliver beautiful movies. Working in Anbarivu was quite an unusual experience as it had a star-cast of youngsters and experienced stars like Napoleon sir, Asha Sharath mam. Hiphop Adhi is such a great person to work with. Despite scaling greater heights, he is so down-to-earth. I play the role of Pasupathy, who always believes in cunning methods to win the situation. He exhibits his pureness and honesty to the public, but within, he is the root cause of creating drift and clash among the villagers. I can confidently state that Anbarivu will be a very good family entertainer that the audience can sit back, relax and watch in their home.”
