Samantha Ruth Prabhu, an actress, is getting ready for the debut of her new Telugu movie, Shaakuntalam. The lyrical video for the song Yelelo Yelelo, which stars Samantha, was released on Thursday. The song attempts to convey the various emotions of a pregnant lady. The entire song has a montage-like vibe to it and will feature stunning graphics throughout the film.
Samantha portrays Shakuntala, the title character in Shaakuntalam. She is the daughter of Menaka and Viswamithra. The movie is both produced and directed by Gunasekhar. It will be released in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. On February 17, it will debut on screens all across the world. Samantha and Gunasekhar are collaborating for the first time on this project.
According to the graphics, it appears to be a pregnancy song with a lot of pathos. The soundtrack for the movie features Anurag Kulkarni singing. The movie's trailer was released in January. An emotional Samantha spoke at the event that despite all of her recent personal hardships, her passion for movies hasn't altered. She claimed that she mustered all of her courage to go to the event.
Samantha discussed the unusual auto-immune condition known as Myositis, with which she has been diagnosed since last November, in her speech. She said, “No matter how many struggles I face in life, one thing won’t change. That’s how much I love cinema and cinema loves me back. I strongly believe that this love will grow manifold with Shaakuntalam”.
Samantha's last on-screen appearance was in the Telugu action thriller Yashoda. Samantha portrayed a surrogate mother in the movie who will do anything to keep her child safe. The movie was a success at the box office and has made over 33 cr. from its 10 days of global distribution.
