Ori Devuda Movie Review - Passable Romantic Comedy
Young actor Vishwak Sen’s Ori Devuda released in theaters today. The film is promoted as a youthful rom-com. Here’s what we have to say after watching the film.
Ori Devuda Review - Story
Arjun(Vishwak) marries his long-time best friend Anu(Mithila) only to realize he has done a mistake. He then falls for Mira, who was a senior at this school. Incidentally, Arjun meets with a supernatural force and he gets to go back in time. What does he do differently this time? The answer to this question forms the rest of the plot.
Ori Devuda Review - Analysis
Vishwak Sen is tailor-made for this kind of role. He is in his element as he plays a confused young lad who regrets marrying his best friend and then gets to go back in time and do things differently. Mithila Palkar as his love interest looks fitting and she delivers an acceptable performance. The rest of the star cast delivers decent performances.
Ori Devuda Review - Verdict
As a whole, Ori Devuda is a middling rom-com with a handful of entertaining and emotional blocks going it's way. But at the same time, there are a few tiring blocks as well in either half. If you watch it with minimal expectations, it might make for a decent one-time watch.
