Widespread protests in Hyderabad over BJP MLA Raja Singh's anti-prophet remarks. The protest by Muslim organizations in front of Charminar turned violent. The police vandalized the jeep. The police lathi-charged the protesters. Earlier, BJP MLA was arrested for making controversial remarks against Prophet through YouTube channel. The court granted bail to Raja Singh last night. Raja Singh's release was given a huge reception by the fans. Later, Muslim organizations came to protest in front of Charminar. Stones were pelted at the police. Police attacked the jeeps. The police used lathis to disperse the protesters. Muslim organizations hoisted black flags on the road to Charminar. The protest demanded the re-arrest of Raja Singh. MLA Raja Singh followed Nupur Sharma: Hyderabad was also caught up in the controversy over a 10.27-minute long video titled 'Farooqi Ke Aka Ka Ithis Sunye' released by Telangana Shriram Channel on Monday. Raja Singh also repeated the remarks made by former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma without naming names. After the video came out, protests erupted from midnight. Hundreds gathered throughout the city. Many people gathered outside the police stations in Hyderabad's Old City to protest. Protesters also blocked the road outside the office of the city police commissioner in Bashirbagh. Protesters stormed the Deputy Commissioner of Police's office. An FIR was registered against the BJP MLA at Dabirpura police station on Tuesday as the protest continued. Following the controversial remark, Raja Singh MLA was suspended by the BJP central leadership.
