Breaking: Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao tests positive for Covid

As per the latest statement issued by the chief secretary of Telangana, the chief minister of the state, K Chandrasekhar Rao has tested positive for Covid-19.

“It is hereby informed that Hon Chief Minister Sri K Chandrasekhar Rao has been tested Covid positive. He has mild symptoms. He has been advised self isolation and is staying at his farmhouse,” read the statement from the chief secretary, Somesh Kumar.
 
A medical team is monitoring KCR’s health now and a fresh medical bulletin on the TRS chief’s condition will be issued shortly.
 
KCR shifted to his farmhouse in Gajwel earlier today and he is currently being treated by a team of doctors.
 
Everyone who has been in close proximity with KCR for the past few days is advised to get themselves tested for Covid. Further details about the same will be unveiled by the chief minister’s office soon.
